On a Facebook group page for moms in my town, an aquaintance of mine today stated that the human disease Hand, Foot, and Mouth is the same as the cow disease Foot and Mouth. I was busy feeling guilty the other day (because: motherhood. Six weeks. Just like last time. :P

Maybe I will be happier if I just accept that I will never get anything done ever again. Will never have time for my three-year-old again. Penelope Louise Warmke was born shortly after 10pm, Sept. 7, 2013, weighing 9lbs 6oz.

We're all healthy, and Penny's nursing well - and sleeping. Her dad and I plan to get a good night's sleep too. More detail later.

Started having can't-sleep-through-them contractions at 2am. About half an hour apart till nearly 5. Then every 10-15 minutes till 7ish. Now it's 10am, and they're every 7-12 minutes.

Clearly not what you might call very regular, but I've got my team on standby. Hoping to have a baby today. :)

I'm scheduled for a biophysical profile next Tuesday (41w1d) if I'm still pregnant. Not sure quite how to feel about this. I had imagined we'd schedule it for next Friday, since that's a week from this appointment and, under standard protocol, once-a-week lasts through to 41.0 and twice-a-week starts at 41 1/2.
